Students and volunteer staff members of Mercer Island High School’s own KMIH “Hot Jamz” Radio did an outstanding job of making sure the station stayed on the air to provide continuous weather updates, school updates, and city updates. Last evening by a vote of 4-1, the Mercer Island School Board voted to place a $196,275,000 bond proposition before voters on April 17, 2012 to modernize and expand our current facilities. More info...

Six Mercer Island School District teachers achieve 2011 National Board Certification

Jennifer Wright, MISD Executive Director of Learning and Technology Services recently announced that six more of our teachers have achieved National Board Certification, bringing the total number of Mercer Island teachers with this highest level of national certification to 45, or about 18% of the total teaching staff. MIHS Stadium Community Use Key Cards to expire on Dec. 31, 2011

Current MIHS Community Stadium/Track users with Access Key Cards issued prior to November 2011 who wish to maintain access for next year will need to renew Key Cards before Jan. 1, 2012. Key Cards can be renewed for $5.00 through the mail. More info...
