The Mercer Island School District is now accepting applications for the position of principal of Mercer Island High School

As the top performing public high school in the State of Washington, MIHS will be conducting a nationwide search for a building leader. After a period of over six years of leadership stability, the school is seeking an experienced leader to engage students, faculty, staff and the community in creating exceptional learning opportunities to effectively prepare students for the 21st century. The hiring process will involve students, staff, and parents. Applications will be accepted January 1, 2012 – February 20, 2012, with interviews tentatively planned for March 6-8, 2012.
