School Supply Orders for 2012- 2013 School Year:

West Mercer is excited to announce school supplies will be purchases in bulk for the entire school staring this fall. Think "E". This process will be more Economical, Eco-friendly and more Efficient not to mention Easy for parents. With this new process all ordering will be done in house once or twice a year as supplies are needed.

In order to make this work we are asking parents please pay $32 per student attending West Mercer in the fall. This is less expensive than ordering online, less hassle than school supply shopping and your students will have supplies in the classroom on the first day of school. As we become more efficient with ordering the cost may decrease in years to come. Please complete the form by clicking on the following link and return to Lynn in the front office by May 25th.

New and Renewing West Mercer Kindergarten Parents:

It is the time of year that we are wrapping up the current year and focusing on the year to come. One of our highlights each year is welcoming a new kindergarten class. West Mercer PTA Award Nominations

Now is the time to nominate a deserving teacher, staff member or volunteer for the annual Washington State PTA awards. The Golden Acorn, Outstanding Educator and Outstanding Volunteer awards are presented on the last day of school at the assembly. Please take a few minutes to nominate anyone you feel deserves some recognition. These awards really mean a lot to everyone who works with our students and it is quite an honor. The attached nomination form has all the details.

Office Hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Warning Bell 9:10 a.m. / School Begins 9:15 a.m.

AM Recesses: Grades K-2: 10:35 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. / Grades 3,4 & 5: 10:50 a.m. to 11:05 a.m.

AM Kindergarten/Dismissal 12:00 p.m.

Lunch and Recesses: Grades 2nd & 4th 12:00 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. / Grades K & 5th 12:20 p.m. to 1:00 p.m./ Grades 1st & 3rd 12:40 p.m. to 1:20 p.m.

PM Recesses: Grades K-2: 2:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. / Grades 3, 4 and 5: 2:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

** Every Monday students are dismissed at 2:00 p.m.
